Duo Nibin & Melvin's Success Story in Half Adder implementation
When our faculty Mr.R.Yasodharan told about this project we thought that we
can’t do this.
After that we decided to take a look at a video on YouTube by our seniors. When we saw a video on YouTube and got an idea about this project.
After purchasing the components we started doing this project, firstly we
done so many mistakes.
By the help of our faculty we rectified our mistakes and we complete this project.

INTRODUCTION
Our Digital Electronics project is about J-K Flip Flop. A flip flop is an electronic circuit with two stable states that can be used to store binary data. The stored data can be changed by applying varying inputs. Flip-flops and latches are fundamental building blocks of digital electronics systems used in computers, communications, and many other types of systems. Flip-flops and latches are used as data storage elements. It is the basic storage element in sequential logic.

Story of Harish and Dan in implementing a Half Adder
For Digital Electronics Subject, we had taken Half adder. Basic design and construction of project was explained by our DE faculty Mr.R.Yasodharan, AP/MCT. Then we started to analyse about component working and its implementation, after we starting hiccups we implemented Half adder in bread board. Following are the description of it.
The half adder adds two single binary digits A and B. It has two outputs, sum (S) and carry (C). The
carry signal represents an overflow into the next digit of a multi-digit addition.

Sucess Story of Hari & Ravi's in Implementing Half Adder
This day is a memorable day
in our life. Today we did a mini project on implementation of half adder using
IC’s. This is our first step in our journey towards success. It gives us a
great pleasure in sharing our experience of doing this project. First we were
confused on choosing the topic for our project. Then we came to a conclusion of
implementing half adder using IC’s. First we purchased all the required parts
for doing the project. Then we started to build the project. We made all the
connections with reference to a circuit diagram. After building the circuit, we
went on for testing it. We were so happy that we did it right in our first
attempt. We completed the whole project in just 2 hours.
Story of Shrithika & Supriya on their SR Latch project
We Shrithika Pravin(18MC036) and Supriya.E(18MC038) of II B.E Mechatronics Engineering in SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore happy to write our small success story here.
As part of learning Digital Electronics through project, we implemented SR latch in bread board and executed it successfully. We thank our Digital electronics faculty Mr.R.Yasodharan for motivating us to do the project. So, as
our first digital electronics project, we have made an SR latch using IC 7400
NAND gate. We bought the required components from a nearby electronic store.
So, the components we used for this project are:
●
Breadboard
●
IC 7400
●
Input buttons
●
LED
●
1K ohm resistors
●
9V battery
●
Connecting wires
With
reference to the circuit diagram obtained from internet, the necessary circuit
connections were made on the bread board. The suitable output with indicating LED lights and the truth
table was obtained.
This
mini project helped us to study the various gates and IC circuits before
choosing and implementing the required project. We went through many videos
involving digital electronics projects by which we were able to learn how the
component connections are made on the bread board and the applications of those
circuits involved.
Therefore,
by this project of SR latch we worked on, we were able to know about all the
electronic components and enhance our knowledge. It was quite easy and
interesting to work on such digital electronic circuits.
Internship - Inspiring Story
Internship Story shared by Mr. Ben Ramedani, Social Media Marketing, Mobile App and eCommerce Web Development
"A young graduate walked into my office and said this. But there's no vacant position for now I replied.
He insisted he'd love to work. He had been looking for an opportunity & he doesn’t mind coming to a place where he can learn. Since it was internship nothing to lose, my partner and I agreed.
He joined us. He'd come early and close late with us. Of course, he could close anytime he wants. But his attitude was something I love. Eager to learn & take to correction.

SNS IDEATHON –HACKATHON Success Story
Our start from National Instruments
“NIYANTRA” gave us the confidence and perseverance to move forward thus the
journey did not stop but it just got started. With the amazing experience we
got there we mended our self for the leap the entrepreneur thing. SNS Institution combined with STARTUP PAYANAM and ROWTHRA and gave us an
opportunity not just to be employee but to be an employer.
It’s
the IDEATHON –HACKATHON event for SNS groups of institutions. Thus WE (RINI,SAKTHI of B.E Mechatronics- SNSCT and Our MENTOR
YASODHARAN SIR) together worked for it .It was totally a new experience for
us there were words like business canvas
model and elevator pitch which we heard the most in the speeches by various
people.
Finder Bot- A Students Robot which finds their Success-Success Story
Two of the immensely talent students, started their journey just like that and went a long way through their hard work, perseverance and smart work - Sakthi Murukan.P & Rini Unnikrishna of B.E Mechatronics Engineering (Batch: 2015-2019), SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore. They shared their success story with us....
"Myself Rini Unnikrishna and my supportive friend Sakthi Murukan.P were with our daily routine of our college life .One fine day our mentor Mr.R.Yasodharan sent us a mail regarding a competition which said about NIYANTRA 2017 conducted by National Instruments. We were like what okay met our faculty and had a talk sir we don’t know what to do .Our mentor said “I CAN SEE THE ABILITY YOU GUYS HAVE JUST GO ON GUYS YOU WILL MAKE IT”. That made us feel that we had something is us what we can’t see but our mentor does so let’s give it a try. Thus crazy ideas we started building up the impact from Hollywood movies like TRANSFORMERS and IRON MAN.Thus we came up with a biomimicry Robot which is copied from the desert lizard into our bot which we got inspired from FESTO.The abstract was sent and it got selected and in all the stages we started to get qualified for the final round. Thus the designing stared up many hardship we encountered because in practical the design of objects plays a crucial role rather than what we went through our practical exams.
